CONJUGAÇÃO DO VERBO “TO BE” NO PRESENTE

FORMA INTERROGATIVA (SEM CONTRAÇÃO)

Para formar frases interrogativas, basta colocar o verbo antes do sujeito:

FORMA NEGATIVA (SEM CONTRAÇÃO)

Para formar frases negativas, basta inserir “not” antes do verbo:

CONTEXTUALIZAÇÃO

Perceba que, dependendo do contexto, o verbo pode assumir significados distintos. Compare os exemplos:

Usamos "-ache" com (backache, earache, headache, stomachache, and toothache)

Para outras partes do corpo podemos usar o adjetivo "sore"
